A milestone day today with sketch 266. Yes just 100 more sketches to complete this challenge and the Autumn equinox. It is a stark reminder that Summer has gone as the mornings darken and also the evenings grow ever shorter. So only just after 7pm and the light is fading fast and the sun has already set. Still it was a beautiful evening with a clear light as the waves gently lap the beach.
Tucked away off the A12 down “The Street” Benacre, actually not too far away from Wood Farm barns which I sketched a few days ago.
There are plenty of Blackberries growing in the hedgerows at the moment, these are from a hedgerow in Kessingland.
A beautiful barn at the back of the Benacre Estate near Wrentham, Suffolk. The barn was built in 1840 when it was an agricultural building but it underwent refurbishment in 2002 and is now used for weddings and corporate events.
