Day 268, of my 2016 sketch a day challenge

River Blyth

A walk from Tinker’s wood close to Walberswick along the shore of the River Blyth to Blythburgh. Normally at this time of year I would have expected to find some excellent fungi which I hope to draw soon but with the fine weather which continues there is none. But the river looks superb on this sunny day with expansive mudflats at low tide, in the distance gulls, Shellduck, Redshank and Curlew who’s haunting calls echo to the shore.
