Whin Hill Minsmere
Great to come back to Whin Hill where I did my sketch last year for Look East with Mike Liggins, I always said there would be a colour version. I was volunteering again on the reserve doing some maintenance work on my Red Deer scupture which is just outside the Discovery center. Spring if now in full force with the great weather.
Sulphur Tuft Fungi
I have spent the day at RSPB Minsmere where we have been doing some repair work to the Stag sculpture outside the discovery center. Whilst there I found this clump of Sulphur tuft fungi (Hypholoma fasciculare) for today’s sketch.
After a morning of Bittern Monitoring time for a sketch across the reedbeds. Busy here at the moment with Springwatch here.
After a day at RSPB Minsmere watching Bitterns, Hobbies and Water rails I nipped up to the Cliffs at NT Dunwich looking north towards Southwold.
