Day 159, of my 2016 sketch a day challenge

Looking North from Kessingland towards Pakefield and Lowestoft. The strong Northerly winds have caused a fair bit of erosion on the beach with the removal of large volumes of shingle. There is now a large drop of 2-3 feet down to the tidal zone. In my sketch you can see where the Marram grass is suspended on the top with it’s root system dangling in free air where the shingle has been removed. This sort of erosion often happens in Winter, it is not so common in June. looking towards Pakefield sketch 159
