This boat I has been the subject of my paintings before, nowadays it has seen better days as it rots in the sand at the edge of the Blyth. I expect I will revisit it again in the future too.

This is the cart path that goes from Kessingland Church towards the marshes, a beautiful old hedgerow.

This small fishing boat was resting in the mud on the Blackshore at Southwold.
I have had my eye on a row of Oak trees all winter and especially this one. I have nearly sketched it several times but finally decided that if I left it much longer I would loose it’s fantastic winter form. This tree is on a lane out the back of Wrentham which leads to Covehithe.
