I found this rooting around in Reydon Churchyard, a beautiful tail feather from a cock Pheasant.
I love a freshly ploughed or cultivated field. The furrows give so much form to the undulations of the land and are great to draw and paint. Also great feeding for Crows and Rooks.

I find this a strange name as the plant is defined by it’s startling red shiny berries as it climbs and twists away from the hedgerow. A highly poisonous plant and a member of the Yam Family as Autumn and Winter progress the leaves will die back completely until just the withered twisted stems of Red Berries remain.
Just off Gillingham Dam at Beccles where Derby’s wood yard once was is an old boat house. It has seen better days and no longer housing any boats but it is beautiful with it’s undulating roof.
