Another day of flower sketching a chance to capture the Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) before Summer kicks in.
Day 165, of my 2016 sketch a day challenge
Oxeye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) often found on disturbed ground, scrub and grass meadows. So no surprise to find them growing well on the rough ground that makes up Kessingland beach cliffs. Easily identifiable by the large white flowers with yellow centers that stand tall on a single stem.
Day 164, of my 2016 sketch a day challenge
After Open Studios in Norwich the sketch has had to wait until an evening walk on Kessingland beach. This large tree trunk was washed up during the winter storms and most probably came from Benacre.
